Chicago, IL

Born in Racine, WI.

BFA School of the Art Institute of Chicago

Printmaker, teaching artist, maker of whatever needs making.

In my work, I explore landscape through the interplay of meditative, deliberate patterns, lurid colors, and repeated motifs. I draw on memories of 1980’s video games, the uninhabited spaces at the edges of cities, and my longing for midwestern landscapes. I am weak for the Earth cross-section. I love the element of surprise that is inherent to the printmaking medium.
